After living apart for many years, Qian(the grandaughter), finally back home and live with her grandma. But Qian doesn't felt really patient with her grandama. She wants to be nice, she tried, she is struggling...

About identity struggle, racial melancholia, and elders’ relationship with youngsters.

Inspiration:

The story was based on my personal story of my internal feelings as a first generation  immigrant. The main message I would like to convey is to let more people know and have a better understanding of new immigrants.
